“Simply Incredible” Scott Shuller, a graduate of The Ohio State University, is one of the youngest and most successful professional entertainers in the Cincinnati and Columbus areas. For the past 16 years he’s performed thousands of shows. He has performed at local restaurants, corporate events, trade shows, company picnics, kids show birthday parties, wedding receptions, bar/bat mitzvahs, and virtually any and all other types of venue one can imagine. His close-up magic and stage magic is a perfect mix of comedy and magic that is ideal for all ages. Scott, a native of the Cincinnati area, started performing when he was 9 years old with a small paying performance for a 3rd grade classroom. After that show he was addicted to magic. Since then he has performed for such clients as, Merrill Lynch, Sycamore Schools, Pro-Copy, G.E., Channel 12 News, Abracadabra at the Playhouse in the Park, TGI Fridays, Max and Ermas, Dave and Busters, and many more. One of his favorite restaurants to perform for is Carlo and Johnny. Owned by Jeff Ruby, Scott would entertain many famous and important people five nights a week and get praised for his creative approach to magic. He has performed for people like, Johnny Bench, Corey Dillon, Jerry Springer, Charlie Luken, Rob Portman, Samuel L. Jackson and many more. This helped Scott build and very strong clientele in Ohio. His best accomplishment was when he was awarded the gold medal at the Columbus Magi-Fest national convention for his stage act. He is currently a member of Ring 71 and Ring 23 with the International Brotherhood of Magicians and has been a member for 10 years. He attends national conventions around the world to further his knowledge and capacity for the one thing he loves……...MAGIC. Matthew David Stanley is one of entertainment’s brightest rising stars. At an age when most people are hesitant about there future, he has already established himself as an international award winning and headlining comedy magician and illusionist. Matthew started performing magic at the age of six when his parents gave him a magic set for his birthday. It wasn’t long before Matthew was performing those tricks at family gatherings and for friends. After he had mastered all of the effects in that initial set he began going to the local magic shop and buying and learning new magic effects. I guess that you could say that this is when he was bitten by the magic bug. Matthew continued doing magic all the way through school and worked very hard on a competition piece using exotic birds. He began competing at regional magic competitions in the Midwest and won many awards. When he was seventeen, Matthew submitted a video tape to the World Magic Seminar in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is an invitation only magic competition that only accepts the best of the best in the field of magic. That year, they received seventy four video tapes and out of those selected twelve finalists to come out and compete live on a Las Vegas Stage. Matthew was one of those finalist and ended up winning first prize in that competition making him the “2003 Lance Burton, Siegfried and Roy Award” winner. Later that year Matthew travelled to Kansas City, Missouri to compete in the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM) stage contest. The IBM is the world’s largest fraternal magic organization. Matthew competed in that competition and won first place. Soon after that the calls started rolling in and that seven minute act took Matthew all across the country. Matthew is very proud of that act and of his accomplishments, but it was becoming more and more difficult to travel with animals on planes. In late 2004 Matthew hung up his competition act and began perusing his true passion of Stand-up Comedy Magic and Illusions. Matthew says “I really enjoy performing comedy magic and illusions. I feel a closer connection with the audience and seeing them laugh and smile to me is priceless.” Matthew claims to be an Entertainer first and a Magician second. “Sure my stand-up comedy shows have a ton of magic, but they are more about entertaining you than fooling you. Don’t get me wrong, I will fool you, but hopefully I can make you laugh along the way.” Matthew also performs Grand Illusions and in the fall of 2006 successfully completed a five week run in the Paramount Theatre at Kings Island Amusement Park in Cincinnati, Ohio. The show featured Grand Illusions, female dancers and special effects. Matthew is a fulltime professional and currently performs around 300 shows annually worldwide for corporate events and trade shows, hospitality suites, vacation resorts, clubs, private events as well as theatres and showrooms.
